Kiwifruit Teriyaki4 kiwifruit 1/4 cup dry white wine Soy sauce 1 clove garlic, minced 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (optional) 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger root or 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger 1 1/2 to 2 pound (1-inch thick) boneless round steak Pare and pur?e 2 kiwifruit. Combine with wine, soy sauce, garlic, ginger and oil in large baking dish. Add steak and marinate 1/2 hour. Marinating for more than 1 hour may over-tenderize it. Remove steak from marinade, and broil to desired degree of doneness. Slice steak and arrange on serving platter. Pare and slice remaining kiwi; garnish platter with slices. Makes 6 servings.
