Recipe for Fabulous Fudge from the Candy section.
Fabulous Fudge (T&T)Posted by Pats Cookin' at recipegoldmine.com May 14, 2001 This is the best "quick" fudge recipe I have tasted. Every Christmas for over twenty years I have made at least 10 to 12 batches for gift baskets. I have never had a batch fail. 3/4 cup evaporated milk 2 1/2 cups granulated sugar 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (or butterscotch) 1/3 cup light corn syrup 2 tablespoons butter 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 3/4 cup chopped nuts Combine milk and sugar in large saucepan. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until it comes to a rolling boil. Lower heat, but still boiling, stirring, for 10 minutes. Remove from heat. Add chocolate chips, corn syrup, butter and vanilla extract. Stir until chips are melted and smooth. Quickly add chopped nuts and pour into buttered 9-inch square pan. Cool. Cut into desired size pieces.
We hope you enjoy your freshly made Fabulous Fudge. This recipe came from Candy's, if you'd liked this recipe, there may be many others you'll find delicious as well.
