Caramel Brownies1 (1 pound) box light brown sugar 3/4 cup butter or margarine 3 eggs 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 1 cup chopped pecans 2 teaspoons vanilla extract Chocolate chips (optional) Blend all ingredients. Pour into a 13 x 9-inch greased and floured baking dish. Bake for about 35 minutes at 325 degrees F.
