Kool-Aid Cookies1 cup shortening 1 cup granulated sugar 2 egg yolks 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 6 tablespoons milk 1/2 package dry unsweetened Kool-Aid (flavor/color desired) 1/2 package dry unsweetened Kool-Aid (contrasting flavor/color) Kool-Aid Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg yolks and beat well. Sift all dry ingredients together and add alternately with milk to the creamed mixture. This foundation can make 3 or more different cookies. After dough is mixed, divide in half. Roll out on wax paper, sprinkle with Kool-Aid (one color on half, and the other color on the other half). Put half the dough on top of the other half. Roll up in a roll and refrigerate at least 2 hours or freeze and slice when needed. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10 to 12 minutes.
