Caramel Dumpling Pudding1 cup brown sugar 1 cup water 2 tablespoons butter 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 2 1/3 cups granulated sugar 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 2 tablespoons butter 1/2 cup milk Boil brown sugar, water and butter for about 3 to 4 minutes. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, butter and milk. Drop dough by tablespoons into the hot syrup. Cook uncovered for a few minutes, then cover and finish cooking over low heat as they burn easily. Serve warm with cream.
