Caramel Apple PuddingPosted by Olga at recipegoldmine.com 4/21/02 5:06:31 pm This is delicious served warm and topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. 3/4 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup milk 1 1/2 cups coarsely chopped peeled apples Caramel Sauce 3/4 cup packed brown sugar 1/4 cup butter or margarine 3/4 cup boiling water In a mixing bowl combine all ingredients, excluding the sauce ingredients. Pour into a 1 1/2-quart casserole. Mix sauce ingredients together until sugar and butter are melted. Pour the sauce over the pudding mixture. Bake for 40-50 minutes at 375 degrees F. Serves 4.
