Bay Leaf SauceUse as a sauce for bread pudding, pie or cake. 3/4 cup brown sugar 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour Juice of 1 lemon 6 bay leaves 1 cup water Combine ingredients and cook slowly for 15 minutes. Strain. Makes 1 1/2 cups.
