Graham Cracker Cake

Source: This is the official Honey Maid 75th Anniversary Recipe.

20 squares graham crackers
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Blend cracker crumbs, flour, baking powder and salt in small bowl; set aside. Beat butter or margarine and sugar in large bowl with electric mixer at high speed until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Divide batter into two well-greased 8-inch round cake pans. Bake for 25 minutes or until done.

Cool in pans 15 minutes. Remove from pans, cool completely and frost with desired filling.
