Moist Chocolate Cake1 cup all-purpose flour 1 cup granulated sugar 1 cup hot water 1/2 cup cocoa powder 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 egg 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted Confectioners? sugar In a mixing bowl, combine the first 6 ingredients. Add egg and butter; mix well. Pour into a greased 8-inch square baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 to 35 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool. Dust with confectioners' sugar. Yields 9 servings.
