Caramel Pie3 tablespoons butter or margarine 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour 1 cup dark brown sugar 1 egg 1 cup milk 1 (8-inch) baked pie shell 1/2 pint whipping cream Cream butter or margarine, flour and brown sugar. Beat egg with milk and add to creamed mixture. Cook in double boiler until thick. Cool. Fill baked pie shell with mixture. Top with whipped cream.
