Blue Bayou Caramelized Pecan Salad ToppingSource: Walt Disney's Blue Bayou 16 ounces pecans 6 ounces butter 8 ounces brown sugar .05 ounce cayenne pepper Roast pecans in a preheated 350 degree F oven for about 15 minutes or until roasted. Separately place skillet over stove and melt butter. Add brown sugar and cook until sugar is dissolved. Stir constantly to emulsify sugar and butter, add cayenne pepper and pecans. Coat them well. Place pecans on a cookie sheet and let cool.
