Pear ButterPosted by Annette at recipegoldmine.com 9/18/2001 6:22 pm 7 or 8 large Bartlett pears, peeled, cored, and cut into chunks 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar 1 teaspoon cinnamon Combine all ingredients in slow cooker (crock pot) and stir. Cook on HIGH until pears are very tender. Mash or beat with an electric mixer until the consistency of apple sauce. If the mixture is not thick enough, simply cook it a little longer to thicken. Makes about 1 1/2 pints.
