Vanilla Cream Syrup1/2 cup granulated sugar 1/2 cup light corn syrup 1/2 cup whipping cream 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/2 cup fresh fruit, diced, or fresh berries Combine sugar, corn syrup and cream in a 1-quart pan. Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Simmer for 2 minutes or until syrup thickens slightly. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla extract and fruit. Serve over pancakes or waffles.
