Recipe for Gorditas from the Vegetarian section.
Gorditas2 cups Masa Harina? 1 tablespoon baking powder Water (lukewarm), as needed 1 1/2 cups Longhorn cheese, grated 1 teaspoon salt Enchilada sauce Cheese, lettuce and onions Combine dry ingredients. Add enough water to make a dough ? not too stiff and not too runny. Form into balls, then flatten into 3-inch diameter and 1/4-inch thick patties. Fry patties in hot oil until golden brown. Serve with enchilada sauce. Garnish with cheese, lettuce and onions.
